London Brown is on a hot streak.
The L.A. native has been performing stand-up comedy for just two years, and already his charisma and talent have led to a starring role in “The Hustle”, a new dramatic series on the Fuse network premiering on June 19.
“The Hustle” features Brown as an aspiring rapper in a New York City hip-hop group called Brooklyn’s Finest who are struggling to gain traction in a difficult, competitive business.
Brown draws on his own experience as an upstart comic and channels it into his character, who faces many of the same challenges and possesses much of the same ambition.
